Gazing through the viewfinder, adjusting the camera and lens, slowing down to ensure that the exposure and focus are just right, then pressing the shutter and advancing the film—capturing those fleeting moments with light and the earth is, for me, the most beautiful experience. In this fast-paced world, where we often overlook the details and beauty around us, photography has given me the opportunity to slow down and observe the world more closely. When I lift my camera and peer through the viewfinder, time seems to momentarily pause. Each time I press the shutter, it is a deep capture of the smallest details. Whether it’s the vast landscapes of nature or a fleeting moment on a busy city street, they all find eternity through my lens.

“Slow down,” so that I can truly appreciate nature’s gifts. Walking through nature, I’ve learned to slow my pace, listening to the wind rustling through the trees and watching the sunlight dance on the surface of a lake. From the sprawling mountains to the boundless ocean, every landscape of nature is waiting for that moment to be discovered. In these natural scenes, I see the perfect blend of light and color, and the connection between mountains, lakes, and the sky stirs a deep emotional resonance within me. Photography has become my bridge to converse with nature, allowing me to connect with the soul of the earth through my lens. Each photo encapsulates my awe for nature and my pursuit of beauty. I don’t rush to capture every moment; instead, I focus on finding the frame that best expresses nature’s essence, freezing the most genuine, most unspoiled beauty.

“Slow down,” so that I can see the complexities of human life, the stories of different lives. As my photography journey has progressed, I’ve gradually shifted my focus from nature to urban and human-centered scenes, exploring the interaction between people and their environments. The city is a vibrant and conflicting space, where every street and every corner hides a unique story. Amidst the hurried crowds, the bustling streets, and the quiet corners, I see the subtle relationships between humans and their surroundings. Photography allows me to observe these scenes from different perspectives and capture the delicate emotions hidden within. I’ve learned to use light and composition to express the emotions of a moment, transforming seemingly mundane scenes into immortal memories. This transformation is not just a visual representation, but an expression of emotion and story. Every photo becomes my observation and understanding of society, and through photography, I attempt to convey the complexity and depth behind each captured moment.

Every time I press the shutter, I am seeking a way to interact with the world. I aim to transmit a feeling through my lens—not just the scene captured in the photo, but the sensation I experienced in that moment, the unspeakable feeling. Whether it’s a flower in the midst of nature or a fleeting moment on a city street, I am always trying to sense, to capture that moment's uniqueness. I believe that great photos don’t come from an accumulation of technical skills, but from a sharp observation of the world and a deep appreciation of beauty. Every photo I take seeks to convey a pure beauty through simple composition, soft lighting, and delicate emotion. Whether it's the first rays of sunlight in the morning or the long shadows of a street at dusk, these moments are frozen in my lens, becoming everlasting memories.
